Before you book
What homeowners ask our electrician.
Still not sure what's wrong?
Tell us what it's doing and we'll book the right person.
Can my house handle an EV charger?
Our electrician assesses your current supply first. If it can't carry the charger, we'll tell you whether you need an upgrade or a load management system will do.
Do you take care of electrical permits?
Yes. Our electrician is a certified Field Safety Representative and pulls the installation or operating permits, and we arrange any inspections.
My insurer wants the aluminum wiring replaced. Can you do it?
Yes. We replace aluminum wiring in homes when insurance requires it.
Will I need a panel upgrade for a heat pump?
Sometimes. We check the capacity of your supply and upgrade it if the new system needs more than you have.
Are there rebates for electrical upgrades?
BC Hydro and CleanBC often run rebates on energy-efficient products and installation. Check their sites, and ask our staff if you need help applying.
What happens if you find asbestos during a renovation?
Our team is certified and licensed in asbestos abatement. We contain the area, remove it safely and dispose of it properly.

EV chargers at home
A charger draws a lot of power from your home or strata building. Installed wrong, it can overheat and arc, and damage the charger or the car. Our electrician checks whether your system can take the load, tells you if you need an upgrade or a load management system, then does the work and handles the permits and inspections.
Permits and code
Our electrician is also a certified Field Safety Representative (FSR), so we pull the installation or operating permits your job needs. Every repair and installation meets local building and industry codes.
Rebates
BC Hydro and CleanBC often offer rebates on energy-efficient electrical products and their installation. You apply through your own account, and our staff are happy to help if you get stuck.
Asbestos in older homes
Asbestos was used in B.C. buildings until the early 1990s, and we sometimes find it when we cut into walls, ceilings or floors. Our team is trained, certified and licensed in asbestos abatement: we contain the area, remove the material and dispose of it with minimal exposure. WorkSafeBC has more on how abatement works.
